Past: As a cub, Nuka loved him very much, along with his brother. He and his father spent time together every day. But then his father died after being crushed by logs. Mabaya didn't like Kuniua, because she thought he looked ugly. After Nuka died, Mabaya started abusing Kuniua when he got older. One day, she clawed him over the muzzled. That is how he got the ugly scar on his face.
